About our Practice - Meet our Staff

Melissa joined Dr. Crossman's team in July 2008. She graduated from Algonquin College in 2002 an passed the National Board Exam for level II Dental Assistant. She is a certified member of the Ontario Dental Assistant's Association and takes part in many continuing education courses.

Melissa has experience working in specialty offices such as endodontics and pedodontics. Her knowledge and interest in the dental field makes her an important part of our team. Melissa's caring and friendly manner is sure to help you feel at ease during your visit at our office.

Melissa was born and raised in Kingston and has been residing in Ottawa for the past 3 years. She is looking to purchase a home in the near future. In her free time melissa enjoys spending time with friends and loved ones, traveling and camping in the summer.

Natasha joined Dr. Crossman's team in december 2008 and is a level II certified dental assistant. She graduated from Algonquin College with honours in 2005. She wrote her national board exam for her level II completion. She is an active member of the Ontario Dental Assistant's Association by taking continuing education courses. Natasha in an important part of the team. You can always count on her to make you feel comfortable during a dental procedure.

Natasha and her soon to be husband have just purchased their first home. In their free time they enjoy snowboarding, skiing and spending time with friends and family. In the summer, Natasha and husband enjoy spending the warm days at the cottage and fishing.

Jenna completed the dental assistant's level two programme in 2000. Graduating from Career Canada College with honours, Jenna received an award from the Ontario Dental Nurses and Assistant's Association for highest marks in clinical studies. Jenna started with Dr. Crossman as his dental assistant in 2001. She now works as an administrative assistant

In her spare time she is very busy with two small children. In the summer months Jenna and her husband enjoy their cottage on weekends. The winter brings many fun activities like teaching her daughters how to skate and tobogganing.

Josée joined Dr. Crossman's team in July 2008. She graduated in 2005 from the Dental Hygiene Program at Canadore College in North Bay. She started her career in North Bay and followed her husband, a member of the Canadian Forces, here to Ottawa. Josée keeps updated with some of the latest technology available to help her clients achieve their oral hygiene needs. You can always overhear her telling clients to only floss the teeth they want to keep!

She has had the opportunity to attend a course on Tobacco Cessation by Dr. Jim Morris and has recently taken a course on Laser Assisted Periodontal Therapy (LAPT). She is also quite knowledgeable with the POLA in office whitening system. She is an active member of the College of Dental Hygienists' of Ontario, The Canadian Dental Hygienists' Association, and the Ontario Dental Hygienists' Association. Josée enjoys travelling, golfing and spending time with family!
